    Job satisfaction is a measure of how content someone is with various aspects of their work. Consider Josephine: she works in a biscuit factory in Melbourne. She works full time, Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm and is often so exhausted that she does not have the energy to do much after work. This book explores how psychological empowerment can influence and enhance job satisfaction.     Research examining the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance has been conducted since at least as early as (e. g., Brody, ) and methodology utilized has varied greatly.       This paper examines the influence of perceived organizational support and perceived supervisor support on employee life satisfaction. Structural equation modelling on data from nurses from two Chinese hospitals revealed that job satisfaction fully mediated the relationship between perceived organizational support and life satisfaction.
